Sarotti cake

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 l of Sarotti Schokoladenlikör
  • 6 eggs
  • 150g of sugar
  • 2 pack of vanilla sugar
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 100g of cornflour
  • 100g of flour
  • 2 tea spoons of baking powder
  • 2 slices of butter
  • 1/2 l of milk
  • Blancmange powder (chocolate)
  • 2 table spoons of cocoa
  • 250g of hydrogenated fat
  • 150g of roasted almonds

That's how it's made

Bottom:
Separate eggs, whisk egg white, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt. Stir in egg yolks. Mix flour, cornflour and baking powder and strain, then fold in.
Put it all on a greased baking plate, smoothen and bake at 180°C for about 10 minutes in a convection oven.

 

Top:
Whisk the butter. Make a chocolate blancmange with ½l of milk and let cool down. Stir cold blancmange into the frothy butter. Fold in 2 table spoons of the chocolate powder and stir in ¼l of the Sarotti Schokoladenlikör. Spread the mixture and sprinkle roasted almonds on top. Then put it in the fridge.
